I love reading other people’s blogs. I know I need to get back to updating mine, because I HATE finding a very cool fun blog and discovering that the author is a lazy bitch who doesn’t update enough. I like to think that my blog is both cool and fun and even sexy at times. Sexy bitches writing sexy interesting blogs… that’s what I like. It started off with service worker blogs, restaurant blogs like waiterrant and raging server. I loved reading about how outrageous some people are when they go out to eat. Then I found a few great hotel worker blogs and that was even more fun. But discovering the blogs of other sex workers? Fucking bonanza of great stories. Phone sex workers and strippers and peep show girls and escorts and hookers – they are all out there and some of them are too raw and too well written. Some are hilarious. Some hit close to home.
And speaking of close to home, some of the best written, most interesting blogs are written by my fellow Mistresses. Yes, I know, the Spankmistress is biased. Could be. But I’ve learned more about these amazing ladies from their blogs, in some cases, than I’ve ever found out chatting in IM or doing two Mistress calls. Mean Miss Elizabeth is always a good read. Empress Corrine makes me shiver sometimes when I picture the outrageous dark ways she plays with her willing victims. Ms Vivian, with her love of The Happy Ending makes me smile. And Ms Natalie inspires me to do more for my readers, I mean, READ her blogs. She does a few of them and she does them so well. Can I be smart, sexy funny Ms Natalie in my next life?
There’s something about a blog that is so intimate and honest, I’m sitting here wondering why I’ve neglected mine for so long. I love talking about myself:) And I love sharing stories about my world. Maybe there is someone like me out there, scanning for blogs, and calling me a talented but lazy bitch who needs to suck it up, sit the fuck down and write. If so, I’m sorry, sweet pea. I’m getting right to it!
