Bond(age) Girls are Forever

As you know, Ms Tara watches way too much television. And, the other night, I caught a special called “Bond Girls Are Forever”, about several of the ladies who have starred in the various Bond films. I found it fascinating, as a look at the attitudes toward women in the movies and BY those women who played the roles. Most of them have loved being “Bond Girls”, seeng themselves as being part of an iconic collection, seeing the roles as FUN, a chance to be sexy and strong. And some of them were very strong, especially the villainesses. How delightfully wicked these ladies were, in their very sexy designer clothes, they were passionate in bed and coldhearted when it came to business. What excellent Mistresses many of them would have been!! (as I’m very sure some of our stroker boys have imagined for years!!)

One woman stood out from the group, she played in TWO Bond movies. She said that she has never watched herself since filming them, and was suprised at how young she seemed. What she, and I, found more surprising is the violence Roger Moore, as Bond, inflicted on her. A furious backhand to the face, straddling her prone body while threatening to break her arm for information and, in another film, striding into her bedroom and refusing to stop kissing her when she told him to stop. Of course, she ended up melting into his embrace after a struggle, but still…Bond as a rapist? “You can’t make films like that today” she said, with a certain sadness watching the girl she had been. And a certain amount of pride too, as if we have made strides in this. But have we? In all the teen slasher films, if you see a young woman with bare breasts, or making out with her boyfriend, she’s dying before the movie is over. Him too, usually, but not always. Violence can even be rated PG-13, and a woman’s naked body doesn’t rate more than an R, even when that violence is a sexual thing and concentrated on women. A man’s erect penis still rates an NC-17 in most places. Are men more obscene than women? Is violence so much more acceptable than a man and woman making love? Hell, or just fucking, for fun and happiness and pure enjoyment of each other’s bodies. I know which one seems more degrading and upsetting to me.

And yet, I move in a world of virtual violence. I have special phone friends who adore being tied up and bound in various ways, and I admit to getting a kick out of fulfilling their wishes. I love the idea of binding a man to my big four posted bed with heavy white satin ribbons and teasing him until he’s begging for release. When I get a little pain slut on the phone, I demand that he include ice and my favourite spanking tool in his toy assortment… and then I use them ALL. Making a man cry can sometimes make me wet. Does this make ME obscene? Am I some kind of monster, for providing humilation and pain to those who crave it? I don’t think so. I think that it comes back to consenting adults. I don’t believe that consenting adults can do ANYTHING obscene together, if they both are enjoying themselves. If I spin a tale where my adorable little sissy is bound to my bed with gilded chains, helpless to my will, and trapped in her feminine draperies, and that tale makes her ache with desire and happiness…it’s anything BUT obscene:)

Thoughts?? I welcome any comments on these musings!

Hugs,

Miss Tara

Well to start with, I’m gonna look for “Bond Girls Are Forever” and watch it if I can catch it on TV. It sounds pretty interesting to me!

I have seen pretty much all of the Bond movies over the years, some I’m sad to say, multiple times! If I’m channel surfing and come across one, I’ll usually end up watching it, no matter how many times I’ve already seen it. It’s usually good escapist fare, with humor and of course, those sexy Bond Girls thrown in.

My favorite villainess from any of the Bond movies was the gorgeous Barbara Carrera, who played Fatima Blush in “Never Say Never Again”. It seemed such sacrilege when Bond blew her up, leaving only a pair of smoking shoes. I’ll never forgive Bond for that. He should have taken that bullet to the cock rather than to waste such a beautiful woman.

I also had a high squirm count for that beautiful redhead, Jill St. John, in “Diamonds Are Forever”.

You also make a good point… I wonder what makes hacking up teen girls more acceptible than showing a man’s penis?

As for Your observation of the inconsistencies in the ratings system, maybe it makes a difference who is determining the ratings. It would be interesting to see what rating some of Your phone conversations would get, Miss Tara! LOL Not that a letter and number would mean much to me, either it’s good or it’s not. Just the thought of me being chained up is a “good” rating as far as I’m concerned!

You made me think too hard with this one… now my head hurts… LOL
