Mmmm, having read the comments to my last post, I believe I shall be having a lovely duet perform for me on my birthday. I’ll expect both jem and giselle to be in their sweetest, frilliest dresses and to have their mary janes freshly polished when they come to sing for me. I couldn’t accept a birthday melody from any but the most charming little girls, now could I? LOL, I feel like Princess Diana, and the little girl that welcomed her with flowers wherever she went.
The is a marvelously scented Arbonne sea salt and oil scrub that I like to add to my bath called “Awake”. It’s very fresh, with a hint of spice and citrus, I love it!! I’ve discovered that they make a body lotion now, and a body mist (a very light cologne). Umm, all natural, with botanicals and essential oils, and now in a scent that I love. “Eternity” remains my favourite perfume, of course, but I love matching bath scents. And I like to keep body mist in the fridge, to spritz on when I come in after working out or when it’s hot outside. Deliciously refreshing and cool.
I am considering hosting a Tea Party Chat at Sissy School, for both big and little girls. Everyone would be expected to wear their best dresses, ladies in organdies and frothy sundresses with big hats, little girls in petticoats and sashes, with ribbons and curls. (favourite dolls would also be welcome). We’ll have tea and little sandwiches and miniature sweets, with pretty cupcakes and milk where preferred. It would be a strictly feminine hour, with everyone expected to act like ladies. Do you all think this might be fun?

Are you sure you want jemmie and me to sing for you? The last time we did a duet, all the windows cracked and the paint peeled off the walls and bird migration patterns along the eastern seaboard were affected …
GISELLE…..even though we caused all that damage, everything was fixed and the migration patterns were back to normal before too awful long. But if you don’t want to risk it, we can sing from my place and if there’s any problems it will be along the gulf coast area.
MsTara, the tea party sounds lovely, but I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to get in because of the dress code. I don’t have all the nice frilly dresses and stuff that giselle has, and would be embarrassed to show up in my ratty old stuff.
Oh Ms Tara can I come too? ::giggles:: I’ll be a good Princess, just like all the girlies will be on best behavior!

Princess Grace, you know that you are invited to all my best tea parties!! It is sweet of you to offer jemmie a pretty dress, she secretly longs to be dressed in frilly lacy frocks and big hair bows like our lovely little giselle. You can be junior hostess at the other end of the table and help pass the clotted cream and scones:)

Oh goodies! I sooo want to come too! I will keep an eye to see when the tea social will be!!! Oh and to think jemmie and giselle and all the others in sweet little girlie dressies! OH YUMMY! Oh boy! This is gonna be fun! MsTara and MsGrace, I may need some extra instructions on what’s expected of me, because I’ve never been to a tea social before. I don’t want to embarrass You or anybody at the party by acting like a silly bumpkin. And, Princess Grace, can’t wait to go through your closet with you, and I’m sure whatever dress you choose for me will be absolutely perfect! Yummy!
