Tonight I had two looks at the sex industry from a man’s point of view and it was really interesting. My darlings, Penn and Teller, did an ep of their show BULLSHIT on prostitution. It was slick, funny and pro whore, which I expected. They are for legalization, and I agree.
Earlier I read a really good article about phone sex by a man who actually admitted calling professional phone sex workers, as well as phone fuck buddies he met on the ‘net.
He also was very pro-us, which was nice to read. I think we provide a quality service and one that fills a need for a lot of men. You won’t find the love of your life calling me, but you’ll find someone who is willing to listen. To really try and understand what you are looking for, to make your fantasy as real and rich as I possibly can. Occasionally, to just listen and empathize and help you get through a rough night. Some men call me because they know I’m a real person with a pretty warped sense of humor and a decent education, they know they can relax and have a laugh. Catch me on the right night and I might chatter your ear off, with the caveat that I won’t be offended when you rein me in to talk about you:)
Okay, I’ll get off my soapbox. I just hate feeling really good about what I do and knowing that so much of society puts down both me and my callers. Uses those of us in the sex industry to pass their “moral” laws in the name of protecting children. Believe you me, no one wants to talk to children. For one thing, they don’t have credit cards!! LOL:)
So, in this strange world made possible by the internet, I’m officially proud of what I do and who I am. But, this is also official, I’m still not telling my mother;)
