I’m sensing a pattern

As I look at my past entries, the majority of them were written right around this time, 3 something am. This doesn’t really suprise me, as I do my best thinking in the middle of the night. Or maybe this is when my guard is down and I can really share things with you all without having to feel silly about writing them. I used to have the most amazing phone calls with my best friend after midnight. We’d talk all night and then he’d have to get up for school while I went to sleep for a few hours. Even then, I had a racket. He went to LA and disappeared from my life. I tracked him through his webpages and email addys every so often, but he no longer answers. That hurts a little, we have a huge chunk of each other’s part in our hearts. Oh well…

Speaking of absent friends, I saw one this weekend and it was a delight. She and her mother hosted an elegant bridal shower for a mutual friend at a lovely tea room that exists in a gorgeous B&B. Of course, it snowed, so thank goodness my housemate volunteered to drive. I don’t trust my new car that far yet. Well, I trust the car, I don’t trust my ability to manage that clutch. But that is beside the point. It was a lovely snowy day and there was a fire in the tearoom where a few tables were so decorated with roses and beautiful rose covered china that I wanted to take one with me. I love roses. Dainty china, with saucers and wee little spoons. We were served a real English tea and it was scrumptious, let me tell you! Sweet scones with DEVON CLOTTED CREAM. I have always wanted to try Devonshire cream. It was divine. Tiny little cucumber sammiches, little salmon dusted rounds of bread, a triangle of turkey sandwich, tea sammiches indeed! And minature sweets as well, chocolate chip bars, dried apricots dipped in chocolate, strawberry puffs and a huge ripe strawberry dipped in , you guessed it, more chocolate. I got smacked when I said I thought it would have tasted even better plain. Can you believe that? ::ducking:: Yeah, I know. I would have smacked me too. But still…the jasmine tea was too flowery and the chinese flower tea was still kind of scented. I like my orange or black pekoe (sp), you know, Salada or whatever is in the tea bags:) Strong and steeped. But this was pretty in the cups. It was an elegant tea, we played games and watched my darling bride to be open her prezzies, teasing her all the time about broken ribbons. We’ve been at two wedding together, she and I , and I hope I can make it to hers, because it’s a tradition now. Besides, our little group of four friends upgrade tiaras at weddings. By the time I get married, I’ll owe them Miss Universe type crowns:) A very satisfactory GIRL party. Men never have parties like this, and I feel bad for them, because they do something good for the soul.

And this made me think of my sweet sissies, because I would love to have a big tea party with all of you!! Our little sissy girls could have milk in their tea cups and cookies, while the sluts added a shot of something stronger to their tea and eyed the waiters, and the rest of us acted like LADIES!! In long gauzy sundresses with big hats and ribbons. Classical music in the background. It could be very beautiful. Maybe a little Stepford. But beautiful just the same. I wish a lovely feminine treat this week for each of my darling sissy sweethearts. A fragrant bubble bath, a manicure and pedicure, an evening alone in your satin pjs eating bon bons and reading a good trashy novel. I heart each of you!!

Ms. Tara – I love the pretty picture you painted here – first of you and your friends at this exquisite tea, with clotted cream and chocolate dipped strawberries – then of all your sissies lined up as your little stepford dolls. It makes me so happy to see you truly have a special spot in your heart for sissies!
